Marienlyst is in Helsingør, which is a 60-minute train ride from Copenhagen Central station. If you rent a car, please note that parking is via the EasyPark app at the hotel.
From 15:00 you can check in at Marienlyst. We encourage everyone to stay with us at the hotel, and we have special wedding rates.
You can use the spa at Marienlyst, but you need to book it in advance.
18:00 we encourage you to meet up with us at Helsingør Streetfood.
It is a short walk from Marienlyst itself. The streetfood is hosted in an old ship building factory, and offers many options for food and drinks. You'll pick and pay for whatever you feel like having, and we'll hang out.
We can also hang out at the bar at the hotel, and take a late night swim.
We'll be going to bed at a reasonable time and with limited alcohol in our bloodstreams. Yes, we are sleeping in the same bed the night before our wedding. Try and stop us. We know kung-fu.

13:45-14:00 Bread and salt ritual and have a seat.
14:00 the Ceremony begins. Please keep you hands in your seat and enjoy the ride. Also, be ready to participate.

15:06 Wedding procession. If you own a lace umbrella, bring it for this part.
SHORT BREAK - Possibility to check-in if you haven't already, or take a couple minutes in your room. We'll have our pictures taken.
Reception is not the same as dinner. Reception means "stand around and have light snacks while holding drinks".
16:00 at Napoleonsalen we will serve snacks, drinks and champagne.
16:30 we cut the wedding cake. Yes, the cake is cut in the afternoon in Denmark.
There will be options to have your pictures taken with our photographer.
17:00 Ivanna is abducted. Everyone help Akira conquer her back. This is serious. His failure means the end of the evening.
18:30 on the terrace introduction to the dinner. We'll go over the traditions we'll observe and which ones we definitely don't want observed.
18:40 Seating will begin in Salon 3. You'll be directed to your tables. Hopefully you'll like your neighbors.
19:00 Dinner will be served. Three courses with ad libitum wine and beer. Observation of the various traditions shall begin and speeches will be peppered throughout dinner, administrated by a master of ceremonies.
20:30 The bride and groom will make their rounds at the tables. There will be toasts and roasts and boasts.
22:00 The newlyweds will perform their first dance. Get ready for a show!
22:10 The dance floor opens and the DJ starts playing. Time to boogie! The free bar opens to get you dancing. Petite fours and coffee will be served to keep you fueled.
24:00 The newlyweds perform their first waltz. There is a tarantella in there somewhere too.
24:10 The tradition of cutting the grooms socks shall commence. If you can catch him!
01:00 Fires will be lit on the terrace.
01:30 The late night snack is served.
02:00 The party ends far too soon. If you want to keep partying, you are welcome to head over to the hotel casino or skinny dip in the sea.
09:00 After a good, long nights sleep, breakfast is served in a private room for all the wedding guests who stayed the night. Hopefully all of you.
Breakfast opens from 7:30 if you can't wait that long.
We'll be packing up all our stuff and heading home, but we encourage you to spend the day sightseeing stuff in this old capital of Denmark or take a detour to Sweden across the straight.
After breakfast, we recommend you take the ferry across the straight to Helsingborg in Sweden. It's a short ferry ride that departs every hour. The two countries are sooo close!
